El pasado 7 de noviembre de 2024, participamos en el encuentro \u00abEconom\u00eda Circular para un Desarrollo Sostenible en Galicia.\u00bb, moderado por Irene Bascoy, subdirectora de Faro de Vigo.<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u00abObtenemos porcentajes elevados de reutilizaci\u00f3n, entre el 25 y el 30% en CPUs y ordenadores de sobremesa, y un 45% en tablets y smartphones, logrando recuperar y reutilizar estos dispositivos\u00bb,- destac\u00f3 Alejandro Lajo, fundador y director de Revertia, seg\u00fan datos de nuestras dos plantas, de residuos electr\u00f3nicos en O Porri\u00f1o y de inform\u00e1tica en Mos.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

 <\/p>\n

La gesti\u00f3n de residuos y reciclaje de material electr\u00f3nico se est\u00e1 convirtiendo en la aut\u00e9ntica miner\u00eda del siglo XXI como eje central en las intervenciones como la de \u00c1ngeles V\u00e1zquez, Conselleira de Medio Ambiente de la Xunta de Galicia que nos acompa\u00f1\u00f3 en el debate.<\/p>\n

Luis Moreno Jordana, director general de la Fundaci\u00f3n ECOLEC destac\u00f3 la importancia de la miner\u00eda urbana en relaci\u00f3n a la recuperaci\u00f3n de materiales cr\u00edticos, como\u00a0el cobalto, las famosas tierras raras, el molibdeno, que se utiliza para imanes de los altavoces de los m\u00f3viles o los coches y los aparatos electr\u00f3nicos.<\/p>\n

Por su parte, Mar\u00eda Jos\u00e9 Echeverr\u00eda, directora xeral de Calidade Ambiental e Sostenibilidade destac\u00f3 la importancia de una colaboraci\u00f3n efectiva entre administraciones, distribuidores, fabricantes y gestores de residuos para lograr avances en la gesti\u00f3n de residuos y econom\u00eda circular.<\/p>\n

\u00abAdem\u00e1s, es fundamental concienciar al ciudadano\u00bb,\u00a0 destacaron todos los participantes.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Se trataron temas como la entrada en vigor en 2025 de la orden ministerial y que implementar\u00e1 una plataforma electr\u00f3nica de gesti\u00f3n que est\u00e1 causando preocupaci\u00f3n por las \u00abdificultades para cumplirla, especialmente en Galicia\u00bb, destac\u00f3 Wilson Fern\u00e1ndez Milar de Asociaci\u00f3n Nacional Empresas Distribuidoras de Electrodom\u00e9sticos (ADEN)<\/p>\n

\u00abEn 2023, Revertia gestion\u00f3 residuos de m\u00e1s de 200 empresas y Galicia representa el 43% de los residuos electr\u00f3nicos gestionados. evit\u00f3 la emisi\u00f3n de 791 toneladas de CO2. Adem\u00e1s, hemos participado en el proyecto Circular twAIn donde se investiga la aplicaci\u00f3n de la inteligencia artificial (IA) para mejorar los procesos de desmontaje de RAEE, con el objetivo de aumentar los porcentajes de reutilizaci\u00f3n y reciclaje.\u00bb<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
