informe<\/a> que acaba de presentar la Fundaci\u00f3n Cotec. El estudio, que la organizaci\u00f3n realiza con car\u00e1cter bienal desde 2016, analiza la evoluci\u00f3n y la situaci\u00f3n de este modelo de producci\u00f3n y consumo a nivel nacional con respecto a Europa. Y la principal advertencia tiene que ver \u00abel estancamiento en los \u00faltimos cinco a\u00f1os\u00bb, a pesar de que se han puesto en marcha pol\u00edticas y estrategias en distintos niveles administrativos y empresas y del mayor conocimiento del concepto entre la ciudadan\u00eda.<\/p>\nLos \u00faltimos datos disponibles, correspondientes a 2019, revelan que en Espa\u00f1a el uso circular de materiales era del 10%, es decir: solo el 10% de los requerimientos totales de material ven\u00edan de material recuperado. Las cifras espa\u00f1olas de uso circular de materiales se sit\u00faan por debajo de la media de la UE-28 en todo el periodo considerado.<\/p>\n
Espa\u00f1a tambi\u00e9n se queda por detr\u00e1s en reciclado: la tasa es del 35%, lejos de la media europea (48%) y del objetivo del 50% que la Comisi\u00f3n Europea marc\u00f3 para 2020. Otro suspenso es el relativo al tratamiento de residuos: en Espa\u00f1a el dep\u00f3sito de residuos en vertedero en 2019 fue del 54%, mientras que el objetivo fijado por la UE establece que no se debe superar el 10% para el a\u00f1o 2035.<\/p>\n
El informe destaca que Espa\u00f1a necesita una mayor ambici\u00f3n en las pol\u00edticas circulares en todo el entramado econ\u00f3mico, donde se detalla que las medidas \u00abparciales<\/em>\u00bb que se han ido adoptando han estado centradas, sobre todo, en la gesti\u00f3n de los residuos, \u00abdonde persisten importantes puntos d\u00e9biles para aumentar la eficacia de la recogida selectiva y mejorar el reciclado en cuanto a cantidad y\/o calidad<\/em>\u00ab.<\/p>\nFinalmente, el informe insta a los actores implicados, tanto del sector p\u00fablico como del privado, a abordar el escenario post-pandemia como un \u00abimpulso a la creatividad, la innovaci\u00f3n y el emprendimiento para encauzar esfuerzos<\/em>\u00bb hacia esta nueva econom\u00eda con la que\u00a0se realice una gesti\u00f3n \u00abm\u00e1s eficiente\u00bb de los recursos.
