Environmental Footprint

Do you know what impact there would be on the environment if we could extend the life of your computers by 1 year?

According to a report from the United States, 42% of emissions are a result of how we acquire, produce, deliver and dispose of goods and services. In short, these emissions could be greatly reduced by using the well-know “3 Rs” (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle).

For example, if we reduced packaging used in products by 50%, reduced paper and plastic containers by another 50%, increased the life of computers by 25%, increased the recycling of construction and demolition waste by 50%, we would get a reduction of about 354 million metric tons of carbon dioxide.
